Alyza Lewin, President of the Louis D. Brandeis Center for Human Rights Under Law, gave an outstanding presentation in the CAEF webinar, March  24th. There are many challenges for students in colleges and universities across Canada and the US in today’s very politicized environment. Many are rooted in lies and hatred towards Israel, denial of Zionism as part of one’s Jewish identity, and mischaracterizing Jews, Judaism and Israel. Alyza Lewin offers some deep insights and responses.

Dear Readers,

Many good questions were submitted to Alyza during the webinar, and were forwarded to her, but she has not had time to deal with all of them. Below are jer responses to two questions.

„In response to the one question about Title VI under the Trump administration and the Biden administration: The Executive Order on Combatting Anti-Semitism that was issued by the Trump Administration in Dec 2019 remains in effect today.

A page with Q&A about the Executive Order is on the Department of Education Website.

Palestinian Apartheid Week: Update from Campus Grounds

First Footage from the Campaign:
Preview from the ground: here are some of the things we are discussing on campus related to the Palestinian discriminatory practices against Jews!
The Students Supporting Israel team spent the first week on campus grounds as part of the „Palestinian Apartheid Week Campaign” and here are some key points we are raising with the college students:
– There is no mixing of Arabs and Jews in Palestinian-controlled territories.
– Jews cannot own land in Palestinian-controlled territories, and selling land to Jews is severly punishable by law.
– Jews cannot pray at the holy places in Palestinian-controlled territories without fear of violence and need heavy security to do so.
– The Palestinian government has made it part of their official policy to reward the killing of Jews with Pay to Slay funds.
– Both the PA and Hamas actively seek to erase the existence of the Jewish people from their textbooks, from their maps, and from their education system as a whole.
Now is the time to discuss the Palestinian apartheid like policies. For too long, the despicable practices of the Palestinian government against Jews have gone unnoticed by the international and academic community. For the first time ever, activists at SSI will be exposing these shameful practices.

It is time to switch the conversation from one where Israel activists are constantly on the defense, to one where we are pro-actively asking the HARD QUESTIONS that needed to be asked a long time ago!

Meet the Man Who Leaked Details on the Iran Deal

Gabriel Noronha previously served on the Iran desk at the U.S. Department of State, and because his colleagues from State, the National Security Council and the European Union were so concerned about the degree of capitulation that the Biden administration offered Iran in Vienna, they leaked details of the negotiations to him.

Gabriel is continuing to find out extremely disturbing details of just how far the American negotiating team under Robert Malley has gone and is continuing to use his Twitter feed to expose it to as many people as possible so that we can bring it to our members of Congress.

Our elected officials, under Article II of the Constitution, have an obligation to exercise Congressional oversight, particularly for a deal that could potentially be so incredibly devastating to the national security interests of the United States, and our allies.

Based on much of the information that Gabriel has revealed, there is only a slight chance that this horrendous deal might be scuttled.

Please make every effort to attend this very important webinar and to share this invitation with all of your family and friends.
